For no reason other than I like to take photos

Welcome to my photo blog. I keep this updated with photos and whatnot from life as well as work. Thanks for stopping by!

We went to go see the horses and/or longhorns but they weren’t around… so we improvised.
I was in the shootin’ mood when Audrey and I went to Starbucks…
Spent an hour with one of my favorite models today. I hadn’t seen her since she donated about a foot of hair to Locks of Love in November. She was a great sport and we had a fun time. Next time I’m getting her sister in the mix too!
Michele (Pinkle Toes): Wow. She's stunning! These pics are beautiful and thanks so much for the reminder about Locks of Love. I'll have to see if I can encourage my daughter to do it one day.
We had a fun mini-session with the family yesterday. We really need to do this more often. Joanna even got a few shots of me at the end…
We had a great time strolling around downtown. Lisa was quite a sport considering all the walking we did, and she’s due in a few weeks!
Usually the close ups from the fashion sessions don’t get used, but I can’t help myself. Here are a few from the recent LTDK shoot…
Started playing with the video capabilities of my new camera today. Pretty neat stuff, and definitely a learning curve… but it should be fun!
Harry wondered into the room today (somehow he had undressed himself) and took a seat just inside our bathroom. The light looked really fun, plus he had a few props with him… pretty fun results.
Emily Schofield: Very cute. I love the foretelling. Will he say one day, "I took my first picture with a point and shoot when I was the ripe age of 1."
I had a fun session yesterday afternoon with Debbie from La*tee*da*kids. She has a few fun new items for Spring and rallied some very cooperative little models. Everyone battled through the cold, finding any spot in the sun to keep warm between shots. Please visit her store on Etsy to see the rest of her fun and fresh designs.
I was grateful to get some time with these two cuties yesterday. I have been dying to give my new camera proper trial, and so far I just love it! Of course it helped to have two cooperative models – anytime ladies!

Lisa George: Love these Scott! You're rockin' your new camera! And the girls are beauties.
Brenda: so beautiful Scott! you really captured their playfulness!
